Brigida di Svezia e il monastero di San Lorenzo in Panisperna a Roma. Testimonianze di devozione e sodalizi

The article examines some documents from the Archives of the Roman monastery of San Lorenzo in Panisperna relating to Bridget of Sweden and the hospital for Swedes erected after her death. Such records not only help to better understand the relationship that the Swedish saint had with this female monastery, but also document the trust that was established between Swedish devotees and San Lorenzo in the decades after her death and canonization. These are specifically a manuscript containing the life and miracles of Bridget, a bull of indulgence, and a small corpus of three documents relating to the foundation of the hospice for Swedes erected in Rome in the house where Bridget lived.
